Lindberg
When Danish Optometrist Poul-Jorn Lindberg and Architect Hans Dissing created their first ultra-lightweight rimless titanium frame they started
an eyewear revolution. Their combination of cutting-edge technology and design realised Lindberg’s vision to make glasses that the wearer could
barely see or feel, yet could stand up to the rigours of daily use.
Lindberg's innovative frames do away with the need for welds, screws and hinges - the usual weak points in most glasses. The use of titanium means Lindberg frames are strong light and flexible. This provides the wearer with a sleek, chic yet functional eyewear, designed for men or women with an active lifestyle.
The Lindberg bespoke production process creates frames that are comfortable, resilient, strong and aesthetically pleasing. The patented building system means you can select the size, shape and colour of your frames and temples to suit your mood, personality and preference. As part of the custom production you can even design your own lens shape. This results in unique and individual eyewear. The only limit is your imagination. At Personal Eyes Optometry we are one of the best places to try Lindberg glasses in Sydney.
Technology, functionality, aesthetics and your own personality combine in Lindberg glasses into a synthesis of eyewear perfection. In addition to the Lindberg patented rimless frames, Lindberg concepts inform ranges of half and full framed spectacles. As an accredited Lindberg +Partner, we have one of the largest ranges of Lindberg frames in Sydney. -

Antoine Bordier was born in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1963. After studying at the Passadena Art Center College of Design in California, he decided to settle
in first Hawaii and then New York where he developed windsurfing boards, packaging for Pepsi Cola, watches for Timex and interiors for the Boeing 777.
In 1999, he founded the ABDC (Antoine Bordier Design Consulting) studio where he creates numerous lines of accessories. The Koali concept dates from this time. Drawing on these memories of lush vegetation and exotic insects, Antoine Bordier has elaborated an exotic spectacle combining metal and plastic materials.

Orgreen
Founded in 1997, the Ørgreen aesthetic is: provocative but not arrogant. It’s about tugging at traditions, daring to challenge them, and setting a new agenda.
This requires true dedication to retain in a position as the preferred eyewear provider for the design-and quality-conscious consumer anywhere in the world.
As with many success stories, it’s something of a coincidence Henrik Ørgreen, Gregers Fastrup and Tobias Wandrup made their career in eyewear. The three guys circulated in the underground subculture—where art played an essential role in their daily lives—and worked with products related to street culture and extreme sports. One day, a concept sparked their interest- an idea to design eyewear based on the principle of frames as art.
Taking inspiration from the American classic car era when glamour and functionality played strong roles in design—with a 1950s Corvette as a particular favorite— Ørgreen Optics presented exciting frames time and again. The formula for their success was colours and high-quality materials, and they ignored convention—nothing was sacred.
World-leading company in eyewear design, Ørgreen is famous for their inventive approach to design and innovative colour combinations, utilising over 400 different hues. Designed and developed in Denmark, each frame is handmade in Japan, known and respected for its high standards and irrefutable quality. Individually crafted with more than 100 processes, each frame can take up to six months to achieve its penchant for perfection.
Today, the exclusive handcrafted frames are available in more than 40 countries around the world and their headquarters is situated in an old building on historic Hauser Plads, right in the heart of Copenhagen. -
